You Have to Burn the Rope

As far as games go, there is nothing better than seeing a return to 2D sidescrollers in flash. "You Have To Burn The Rope" is an exciting adventure done in 2D that will challenge even the most hard-core gamer to think on their feet.


The game itself was so good it inspired several other people to make games with the same idea.

The aim of the game is to make your way through the tunnels, performing a series of difficult jumping manouveres and eventually make your way to the final boss - the Grinning Collossus - who only has one weakness which must be found to finish.


Again, this game takes it all back to basic, simple colours, a simple storyline and great gameplay, but the major feature of this game is the music. Some claim the music is what makes the game so good, but the intuitive gameplay and enjoyable playing makes the game what it is, in my opinion.



Compared with many games, 'You Have to Burn the Rope' is a wonderful play that can be enjoyed by almost anyone, but you MUST have the speakers on to get the whole of the games effect.
